🤟When I was growing up this was the hand gesture for “safe”. It didn’t specifically mean that I am safe. It meant more that all is ok. I use this hand gesture to you in the hope that all is ok. Just be safe!!!

Morning has broken like the first morning

Blackbird has spoken like the first bird

Praise for the singing, praise for the morning

Praise for them springing fresh from the world

The official video is beautiful and the music is superb. Praise the singing. I remember this song word for word and we used to sing it in school when I was in elementary school. The long lasting effects of learning music in school can never be negated.

"Morning Has Broken" is a Christian hymn first published in 1931. English pop musician and folk singer Cat Stevens included a version on his album “Teaser and the Firecat” (1971). The song became identified with Stevens due to the popularity of this recording. (Wikipedia)

Here is another golden oldie from the Carpenters. And yes we sang this at school too.

Sing - Sing a song

I read the YouTube comments after this song and it is amazing to see how music has influenced so many, especially with Karen Carpenter's angelic vocals.

Take two minutes to watch and observe the importance of music in a student’s life.
