8 year old Amelia Anisovych from Kyiv sings Let It Go then joined by the cast of Frozen
She starts off in Russian. She is joined by the cast of Frozen singing in Russian and English. Amelia’s reaction says it all. Worth a few minutes for her facial expressions.
The holidays are behind us and we move forward to the final two months of the school year. This week we commemorate Yom Hashoah and the week after Yom Hazikaron followed by Yom Haatzmaut. Out of respect for the days of Yom Hashoa and Yom Hazikaron I will not be posting a musical joke this week. This gives me time to focus on the magnitude of the events this week and time to listen to the radio filled with solemn songs. Listening to the songs this week and in preparation for the week to come I feel the music and nature of the songs engulf me entirely.
Inspirational Quotes
“When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it.” – Henry Ford
“When things are bad, we take comfort in the thought that they could always get worse. And when they are, we find hope in the thought that things are so bad they have to get better.” – Malcolm S. Forbes
CBL or CLIL Today's topic is CBL or Content based learning. In Europe it is called CLIL or Content and Language Learning. Organizing your content to teach a certain language structure. It can also relate to teaching other school subjects through English. There is so much room for creativity.
Professional Development - Last 40 places up for grabs. This course is for gmul and is suitable for Ofek Hadash and Oz Latmurah
We have a few more places left for this amazing course. Using film and movies to enhance your English lessons. As part of the course, teachers will be exposed to a variety of videos that help improve the processes of teaching English as a foreign language and will experiment with developing learning activities that combine different videos. Teachers who complete this course will bring quality innovative pedagogy to the classroom. They will have the tools to adapt different videos to the different needs of the learners, become video producers for their students and add layers of information on the videos.
