Happy Fridays to all of you and wishing you all a warm, dry, healthy weekend. By now you should have heard about the “Jerusalema Dance” Thanks to Inbar Meller Zaltzman for opening my eyes to these wonderful gems.
Their rhythm and dancing are out of this world. So, what is the connection to English teachers and English learning? Firstly, one can just watch the video and talk about it. One can mimic their movements in any song that we sing but most of all just look at the children singing and enjoying their music. One can even learn the steps with DJ Raphi -and one can talk about different countries and cultures.
For me it shows how much fun can be had when moving and singing.
A huge welcome to all the teachers that joined this week after our presentation at the Elementary School Kaveret program. https://hishtalmutcet.wixsite.com/kaveret
Thank you for all the positive feedback that you send me privately for these broadcasts. I am glad that it gives a little positivity in these crazy times.
And now for something completely different. For the higher grades - Well done to the students of Branco Weiss Rabin School for their 48th issue of their monthly magazine. There are some nice articles and ideas about music and performers. Well done Chamian Lezmy and her talented students. http://bit.ly/brancowc

I will finish this broadcast with Nathan Evans singing that has gone viral on the internet for his accapella version of the “The Wellerman”.
Have a look at how others added to his original to make a perfect TIkTok Mashup.
