Mixed emotions - This is our 100th broadcast. That means that some of us have been on the journey for 100 broadcasts. I want to take this opportunity to thank you for being there, being avid readers and your private comments via Whatsapp and mail reassure me that these broadcasts are meaningful and reach a wide and diverse group of EFL professionals.
So I am truly excited to stand up and shout - 100 broadcasts…!!
Enter fireworks 🎉🎇🎉🎆🎉🎇🎉🎆🎉🎇🎉🎆
Mixed with this elation I cannot not mention Tina Turner who sadly passed away yesterday. I grew up listening to her music and she was a real queen of rock ‘n’ roll.
I told myself that after 100 broadcasts I was going to start posting on LinkedIn. So look out for us on LinkedIn as well.
Proud Mary
Recorded first in 1968 by Mr. Fogerty's band, Creedence Clearwater Revival, the soulful hit was covered twice in 1969—by Solomon Burke as well as the Checkmates Ltd. —and in 1970 by Ike and Tina Turner, whose hit version became a frenzied classic.
“You're simply the best
Better than all the rest
Better than anyone”
Tina - You were simply the best
My smile of the week
BGT - Britain’s got talent
I am a huge fan of talent shows and this idea of the talent show is what got the E-Talent idea up and running. There are some amazing acts and there are some acts that just stand out. This is one of them
“Some of the most wonderful people are the ones who don’t fit into boxes.” Tori Amos
Shavuot 🐮🐄 is here and I would like to wish all of you who are celebrating a happy holiday. This is why our broadcast is one day earlier.
I am sharing a link to Jacob Richman’s page. All the credit goes to him.

Digital Tool of the Week
Conker
Fast and easy to use tools for creating quizzes and formative assessments in a flash..
I created a conker test and exported it to Google forms in a matter of seconds.
Really worth a look and it seems totally free at the moment.
(Maths related but it gives an idea of what it is all about)
Musical Joke of the Week
I saw a snowman playing Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me on the piano.
Meltin' John.
