As my inbox, WhatsApp and Facebook feeds are filling up with good wishes and New Year blessings, I am reminded of this video...

Still my most favourite of the New Year videos

“A new year rising

A new beginning

Lift your head up

Turn yourself 'round

The world is spinning

Feel the magic

Of a new day

Open your heart

To a fresh start

Send your fears away” Ein Prat

I know I said this 365 days ago, but have a great new year and let’s make it a good one. I am proud of what we achieved last year and hope to do even better next year.

All is quiet on New Year's Day

A world in white gets underway

Songwriters: Adam Clayton / Dave Evans / Larry Mullen / Paul Hewson

Keeping it real with U2.

Here is hoping for an easier and quieter start to the New Year.

Let’s remember why we do what we do.

We are teachers. We were born to do this and make an impact. 🤜🏻🤜🏻

Each person has the potential of making a positive impact on the world. It all depends on what you do with what you have. 🌍– Gary Chapman Language Lover of languages and Inspirational Speaker

This next video has nothing to do with music and song yet truly inspirational. I urge you to watch it and it is ten minutes that you will be thankful for. Sure you can skip it but I really encourage you not to do that.

Dr.Rick Rigsby - Make An Impact - The wisdom of a third grade dropout will change your life!

I just found this gem of a song about learning - Jason Gray

Take a listen

“Let them shout from the bleachers

Every time I don't get it right (ooh yeah)

I know my failure is my teacher

And I'm still here in the fight (yeah)”

And now - someone else who is making an impact… The Way of the Righteous

The students of the special education school "Afik" in Petach Tikva wrote and composed a song in English. And if that's not enough, they produced the music video and the choreography!

This is a collaboration that began last year between the English coordinator at the Zvi Reznik school and the David Z Foundation, an association established in memory of a musician who was killed in a car accident. The students promoted the project as part of their English matriculation at school. The exciting song is performed by the singer Adi Argalzi. Well done to all of you.

Take look at the behind the scenes video to see how they achieved this amazing video
