Good Morning

I do not know where to start. I will start at the beginning. That is a very good place to start.

A huge WELCOME to our new subscribers from the Jerusalem conference. Really glad that you are joining this group.

We are living in uncertain times and I am sure that no-one can predict the near future. What is certain is that the schools are now closed and our education system is now moving online. We will be teaching from afar and I hope that the move to this process will be a smooth one. More and more people will be staying at home and there will be a need to release some of that built up energy.

I can think of no better way than to incorporate music and song in your everyday life. So, I thought of how I can contribute to this group. I opened a special page on the LIT site – www.bit.ly/learnintune called If I am at home. I have already posted a few links and a special song that I made up to the tune of, “When you’re happy and you know it.”

*Here are the words. Feel free to add actions and movements.

Sung to the tune of, “When you’re happy and you know it...”

By Howie Gordon

When you wake up in the morning, wash your hands

When you wake up in the morning, wash your hands

When you wake up in the morning

No more sleep and no more snoring

When you wake up in the morning, wash your hands

Just before you leave the house, wash your hands

You’re about to leave the house, wash your hands

You’re about to leave the house

Be as quiet as a mouse

You’re about to leave the house, wash your hands

When you get to your school, wash your hands

When you get to your school, wash your hands

When you get to your school,

Oh, you can be so cool

Always be a healthy kid and wash your hands

So... when you get home wash your hands

Do the right thing and wash your hands

Wash with all your might

Wash them, left and right

Remember boys and girls, wash your hands.*

I have attached a recording as well.

Digital Tool of the Week

Here is a list of tools for online learning compiled by a good friend of mine.

Feel free to browse and choose what is good for you. Find the tool that you can benefit mostly from and is easy to use.

Hang in there and please be careful. Us teachers are a special bunch and our students need us.

Feel free to contact me privately if you need digital assistance with your students.
