Today is a day for celebration. I really wanted fireworks to explode from this page but you are just going to have to imagine that. Bjork, the well known Icelandic singer says, “Now that rock is turning 50, it's become classical in itself. It's interesting to see that development.” I like this as we are turning 50 today as well. 50 updates that started over two years ago. I have been browsing previous updates on our site and if I could be so bold as to say WOW, we have come a long way. Dolly Parton says, “You'll never do a whole lot unless you're brave enough to try.”
Well, I am brave enough to try and I sincerely hope that you have collected some ideas and some tools to enhance your classrooms and Zoom meets with music, song and language acquisition.
There is so much to reflect on from this past week.
A huge shout out of THANKS to all the inspectors, counsellors and teachers that joined the “Count on me” initiative for the National Zoom In – Zoom Out conference. You can see the video above. The conference was super interesting and the sessions can be seen via this link. https://www.zoomin-zoomout.net/
The sessions were divided into different age groups and each of the sessions were further divided into 5-minute pitches. Lots to see and take away.

Digital Tool of the Week
Did you know that you can download calendar templates for Word, Excel, Google Docs and Sheets?
When planning a unit, a monthly program, these editable templates are extremely useful. You can see a whole month at once and it is very useful to see complete months on a page.
