Good morning and a happy Friday to all of you. For those of you that are teaching today, enjoy. For those of us that are not teaching today enjoy and hope that we all have a pleasant and fun filled weekend.

Yes, the summer vacation is upon us, and I think this is an excellent time to share ideas that I have collated form teachers over the years. This is a link to English fun day activities and I hope you find many ideas for your last two weeks at school. The junior high and high are finishing earlier so you may find many ideas for summer school activities. Please remember to give attribution to teachers that have prepared the work.

This week, sessions were held to plan and share activities for the summer schools. I attended the summer school preparation session for the elementary schools and I am attaching the Padlets of both the sessions with a wealth of ideas.

You will need a holiday just to go through all the wonderful ideas.

I remind you of a few different YouTube channels for summer fun of song and dance.

Digital of the Week

I was hosted this week at Rabin High School in Mazkeret Batya. https://www.facebook.com/311829502770888/posts/832528050701028/?d=n We had a great session learning with and singing music. I also prepared a jeopardy game that can be used for the upper grades.

Feel free to use it and play it.

Factile

Jeopardy-style quiz game board in minutes · Factile is a free learning platform that lets teachers and pupils create engaging jeopardy-style quiz games.

I’ve had a lot of fun with this over the last few years and I am sure you will too.

Digital of the Week 2

Have you ever won the lottery? Well now you can at least have that “kind of” feeling with a digital scratch card.

I have made one for all of you to try.

Prepare a card with a hidden message over here.

One cannot go into the summer vacation without singing or at least humming, “Summertime”.

Musical Joke of the Week

I was walking past my fridge last night and I thought I heard the onions singing a Bee Gees song. But when I opened the door, I realized it was just the chives talking.
