Update 78

Good morning and a happy Friday to all of you. I have spent this last week visiting schools and handing prizes to the wonderful winners of E-Talent. The more children, teachers and principals I meet, the more I am convinced that we are on the right track. Music is good for the soul and singing encourages oral production. I met children that sing and talk beautifully in English, because they invest time in their oral work, with singing and performing for E-Talent. And no, they are not all native speakers. A huge shout out to all the inspectors that joined me and assisted to make the visits so successful and to Dr. Tziona Levi for the inspiration. We have been in Machoz Jerusaelm, Machoz Tel Aviv and Mercaz and the North. We still have schools to visit and show our appreciation to the wonderful work that has been done.

Please look at the winners of E-Talent 2022.

Flakefleet Primary School gives us all a wonderful show with the same song

You see - having fun is contagious

Singing connects the mind with the heart and the heart with the soul. So sing. I dare you! Neale Donald Walsch

What I am really saying is that you can use music, song and dance in your class with your best friend - in this case Youtube. There is so much to find and I hope that these broadcasts give you direction and the willingness to try.

Musical Joke of the Week

A bit of a long one today and a little bit gruesome - but the punchline is epic

One night many years ago, I was about to propose to my girlfriend when out of nowhere, my roommate Joseph barged into the room, tripped and fell over, and broke a glass table with his face. Totally ruined the mood. Now, I didn't know Joseph THAT well, I don't even remember where he was from, but let's just say I put my plans on hold to help him through his injuries. Joseph had gotten a big glass shard in his eye, making him completely blind in that eye. He was walking around with one of those cotton pads on his eye for a couple of months. Then suddenly, he disappeared, along with my girlfriend.

Apparently they'd bonded during the time after his injuries, and eloped together, and left me behind without as much as a note. I tried to track them down, but never could.

In conclusion, if it hadn't been for cotton eye Joe, I'd have been married a long time ago. Where did you come from, where did you go? Where did you come from, cotton eye Joe?

And you can learn the popular dance with DJ Raphi
