Youtube is full of “Got Talent” Competitions and there is so much talent out there. From magic to rap, poetry to just plain silly. Great videos to show your pupils as you are winding down in the last month. Just type in “Got Talent” in Youtube

You may wonder why the need for optimism - There are so many educational challenges that we are facing and as we near the year’s end, it is important to look on the bright side of life.

We will be going on holiday soon and time for us to relax and recharge our batteries, yet in our minds constantly; how did I do this year and what will I do next year? A time for introspection and reflection of what was and what will be.


Next week I will be summarizing the successes of this year for Learn in Tune and the amazing things that have been done by many teachers all over the country. I have good news for teachers looking for professional development - We are opening another “Learn in Tune'' pd course in the summer. Watch this space for details.


Biennale Conference

The International OECD Educational Fair happened last week. It was so nice to see fellow colleagues in person presenting and promoting English teaching in Israel. Well done to all of us as we once again showed how important English is and the different easy to teach the wonderful language.



Musical Joke of the Week

If I were a rapper, my rap name would be “Gershwin” and I would distribute my music exclusively on compact discs with blue cover art. Why? Because then they would be Gershwin’s rap CD’s in blue - @ryanqnorth
