At last - the summer holidays are here. For some of us they have begun and for some they are happening in a week's time. Thank you Aharona for the lovely clip of the school secretary singing to her pupils.
It always amazes me how quickly we reach the end of the year. It was a challenging year with many obstacles and yet we reached the finish line and a well deserved holiday for all of us.
Vacation
Learn in Tune broadcasts will be resting throughout the summer vacation. You can always revisit past broadcasts here and catch up on ideas and funnies that you may have missed. I would like to personally thank our loyal supporters and the teachers that constantly provide the inspiration.

Our achievements this year
Slim Dusty
“We've done us proud to come this far
Down through the years to where we are”
Online Webinars
The year started with online webinars where we promoted the E-Talent competition.
This paved the way to a successful competition in the elementary schools and next year E-Talent is moving to Junior High. Watch this space for details.
E-Talent competition
This year the amount of participants grew exponentially and we saw over 1000 children taking part in this competition. Well done to all of you - teachers, parents and pupils.
Here is a reminder of the 2022 winners.
PD
We ran numerous professional development courses and I am pleased to announce another Learn in Tune PD course taking place this summer.

Concert in the North
The Northern District really came together with this amazing project - Singing English songs and the English Inspectorate collaborated with the Music Inspectorate to create a wonderful event held in the Bet Shean Amphitheater
This article is in Hebrew and available on Facebook.
We look forward to creating similar events next year.
School Visits
Despite the Corona, we managed to visit schools all over the country and hope that next year we will continue this tradition to see the wonderful work done by the English teachers throughout the country. It is always heartwarming to see children engaging in music, song and movement as they learn English in a fun way. We successfully delivered the E-Talent competition prizes to 97% of the winners (Until the strike)
Bi-weekly broadcasts
We have kept this tradition throughout this year with new additions and ideas each fortnight.
We are looking to continue these broadcasts at the end of August 2022
ETAI

Looking forward to seeing you all at the ETAI summer conference. We will be presenting and please pop by to say hello.
Gracie's Corner
This week I was exposed to a new Youtube channel and I highly recommend it.
Gracie’s Corner. Lots of songs for elementary school children with lovely hip-hop beat.
Musical Joke of the Week
Being a drummer in the local band I have given my triplet daughters the same name
Anna 1, Anna 2, Anna 1234
Keep the volume low - you have been warned
Digital Tool of the Week
Thanks to Bruria Greenboim for this fantastic list of tools that do not require signups.
Peruse and you may find something you can use.
Final Word
Thank you to Dr Tziona Levy for her constant advice, enthusiasm and support!
Thank you to the teachers who want to sing and enrich the pupils' learning and who actively take part in sending short clips to show us what you are doing in the field.
Enjoy a well-deserved holiday, and we will catch up with you late August 2022 at the start of the new year.
“And you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin'” Bob Dylan
Yes the times are changing and we have constant reminders of that all around us. Wishing you all the strength to swim through the ever changing and challenging waters.
And another cover
What not to do!
Do not remove yourselves from the broadcast lists thinking you will rejoin in August. Do not remove yourself from the lists because it is cluttering your Whatsapp. Enjoy your summer vacation as who knows, something extraordinary may happen in the summer and we will tell you about it. However, we will see you again officially in late August.
Enjoy the weekend and have a Shabbat Shalom and a restful and ever so peaceful summer vacation.
